Creativity is in my bones.

I'm passionate about supporting entrepreneurs as they start or reinvigorate their businesses. Having helped friends with logos and websites to kickstart their journeys, I saw firsthand how costly agencies can be and how limiting DIY options are.

That inspired me to create Debut Design: maximum value, with no hidden costs or surprises.

What kinds of websites do you build?

Mostly websites for people starting a business. That might be:

  • A simple one-pager so you have somewhere to point people while you get going, with a little about you and links to your social media.
  • A full website that launches right alongside your business.
  • A site for an event you're hosting, where people can sign up or join your newsletter.

But I'm totally open to any type of website you can think of. If you can think of it, I can probably make it.

What do I need to provide?

Just a few things:

  • Your own domain (like yourbusiness.co.nz). We'll link your website up to it so it's live at your own address.
  • Accounts for any tools your site uses. For example a form service like FormSubmit, so messages from your contact form land in your inbox, or Google Analytics if you'd like to see who's visiting. You sign up in your name, so you own it, then send me the link or access and I'll connect it.
  • Some direction on what you'd like. That could be the words for your site, colours you love, your logo or photos. Not sure yet? That's fine, we'll work it out together in our first chat.
How much does a website cost?

A simple website is typically $700 NZD, or around $1,050 if it has more than 5 pages. Custom design and most features are included. The only extra is integrations, like bookings or newsletters. Either way you'll get a clear, fixed quote up front, with no hidden costs.

Are there websites you don't build?

At the moment I don't build online stores (e-commerce) or sites with content management, where you log in to add things like new blog posts yourself. They're a lot more complex to build and look after.

If that's what you're after, get in touch anyway. We can talk it through as a specialised project.

When do I pay?

Payment is required up front, once we've agreed your fixed price. Sending a project request is free and doesn't commit you to anything.

What if I'm not happy with my website?

If you're ever unhappy with your website, I'll do my best to put it right. Just get in touch and tell me what's not working for you.

And in the rare case that you're not happy with the website at all, we can discuss a refund.

Do I own my website?

Yes. Your website is packaged up as files, and you'll always have your own copy of them.

If you ever lose your website, you can simply re-upload those files to your domain, or to a brand new one.

Can I ask for changes?

Of course. You'll get a concept website to review, and you can ask for text changes, colour changes, extra sections, new images, or point out anything that's off.

Do you work with charities?

I occasionally take on projects for free for charities and good causes. If yours could make a difference, get in touch.
